We're carrying out a number of regional studies in Gisborne / Tairāwhiti. Our goals are to:

• improve our understanding of the Poverty Bay Flats and coastal sands aquifer systems

• better understand groundwater resources in the Te Araroa, Hicks Bay, Ruatoria, and Tolaga Bay areas

• better understand surface water flows in Maraehara, Waiomoko, and Pakarae Rivers
